Most people talk badly about the food at Casa Bonita, but I don't think it's really that bad. I wouldn't say it's high-quality, but it's definitely not Taco Bell either. I've been coming to Casa Bonita at least once a year ever since I was a child, and I love the atmosphere. The servers are nice and the shows are fun and I'm always excited when the family plans a get-together here. Two other things I dislike is that they don't really offer vegan options. Vegetarians might have a few more options, but if you're a vegan, your only choice is a taco salad bowl with only lettuce, tomato and beans. No dressing. My girlfriend said it was dry and tasteless. I also hate that Casa Bonita requires a meal purchase to get in. If the food were just a little better and they offered at least one tasty vegan option, I'd consider giving them 5 stars.

Loved the arcade games, the divers, the shows and yummy sopapillas. Bad food, they should put in a taco express or something of the sort for the kitchen....

This is not a romantic gettaway with your partner. This restaurant is for the kids, and yet, most kids don't care too much for WAY overpriced Mexican food. I think they need to seriously re-evaluate their business model and take a hard look at their true audience.

I went here every year for my birthday growing up, much to the dismay of my parents' stomachs (well, by dad didn't come to the birthday parties here). I don't live in Colorado anymore, but I sometimes make people travel back with me, promising them the best Mexican food of their lives. Yea, the food actually blows, but you don't go for the food. You go because it's the disneyland of Mexican restaurants. You go because after traveling 500 miles to eat there your friends will be like WTF.

I LOVE this place just cause it's weird & wonderful. Great for kids. Great for drunken 30 birthday parties. Food stinks.
