You don't go for the food, you go for the ambiance. Black Bart's cave, the games and the awesome cliff divers. If you must actually consume the food go for a salad. It is strongly recommended that you take your children with you as they make the experience worth it, particularly those under the age of 10. Our 12 year old is just about too old but our 5 year old God daughter can't get enough.

Most people talk badly about the food at Casa Bonita, but I don't think it's really that bad. I wouldn't say it's high-quality, but it's definitely not Taco Bell either. I've been coming to Casa Bonita at least once a year ever since I was a child, and I love the atmosphere. The servers are nice and the shows are fun and I'm always excited when the family plans a get-together here. Two other things I dislike is that they don't really offer vegan options. Vegetarians might have a few more options, but if you're a vegan, your only choice is a taco salad bowl with only lettuce, tomato and beans. No dressing. My girlfriend said it was dry and tasteless. I also hate that Casa Bonita requires a meal purchase to get in. If the food were just a little better and they offered at least one tasty vegan option, I'd consider giving them 5 stars.

Yeah! Fun for the kids, and cheap! Had a great time; My kid's had a good time with all the attractions, and the food wasn't all that bad. Cheap, so I can't complain.

miserable food, but you go for the experience, and it's a good one! My wife and I have lots of memories when we were a kid going and enjoying Casa Bonitas. We have taken our kids and lots of friends of other family. but the food is miserable... I laughed when I read a review where they said to just go and buy supermarket frozen food and microwave it... think diet - gluten free - salt free - weight watchers frozen mexican food - lol! No, but really, we still go and it's so much fun. Be sure to check out the gorilla and the silly kids diving into the pool. it's always a memory.
