bohansaut@burbank.com Look,it is okay for a pint and a chat.I went in for a bite to eat with a group of four.Man what a drag, slow and rude service. Why cannot the management coach the wait staff on even the least bit of courtesy?

This is one of the best patio areas in LA. Great tables, fountains and benches. Good selection of beers and the waitresses are always friendly and attentive.

Been here many times. The drinks are on par with the area but you can get cheaper for sure. The food is pretty good as well. This place really shines in atmosphere. The patio is beautiful and dog-friendly. On Sundays they have live jazz. Last time I went it was the perfect background volume... not too loud at all. It was a hit with my out of town realatives.

Going downhill I used to love this place but the service we had there recently was awful. On a day where there were only three occupied tables it still took the server ten minutes to even come and take our drink order, and we had watched her stand chatting to the hostess all that time. We were ready to order food but she ignored us calling after her to order, and then another ten minutes went by before we got our drinks and were able to order. They got the order wrong, but by that time I was so hungry I didn't dare send it back in case there was another delay. The next time was better but when my friend asked what on the menu was gluten free, the chef didn't even know, and said it 'wasn't that kind of place'. (Presumably the kind of place where they know what flour is and whether it's in a dish). I had no complaints about the quality of the food but the customer service was terrible, the servers treated us like we were a burden to them, and they just didn't listen to what we were asking for. Avoid the Sunday live jazz night where there's a $15 per person minumum and the music is just too loud to have any kind of conversation.

My girlfriend and I have been exploring the area around our neighborhood, and recently fell in love with this place. The outdoor patio is a perfect place to relax with good food and great drinks. We arrived as the local band was wrapping up, so we could converse comfortably in spite of the large number of guests. We had the fish tacos which were awesome. Dayna, our waitress, was busy so we had to wait a few times for her, but she was friendly and fun. As one other reviewer mentioned, likely this is due to lack of sufficient staffing, so I'm docking one star from an otherwise perfect experience, and I wouldn't blame Dayna personally for the wait.
