Great little breakfast spot I've visited this cafe a handful of times, and to my recollection, I've only ever ordered one thing. To the best of my knowledge, that is the Hangover omelet. This comes with Jalapenos (not too few, not too many), avocado, spicy chicken sausage, and jack cheese, topped with a chimichurri sauce. I have no idea what a chimichurri sauce is, but sprinkle on some table-side Tapatio hot-sauce, throw some ketchup on the very well done potatoes, and you have yourself a great breakfast.

Holy god the service BLOWS. Waited forever...with no feedback. Then sat for 10 more minutes before our drinks got started. Over it. And it sucks ordering while sitting by the front door with tons of people standing around you. I'm literally sitting here right now and I just want to leave. To bad I'm with other people who want to finish eating.

Great people... Attempting to purchase a gift certificate for a friend moving to SD the staff did everything possible to accomodate me. Emailing back and forth several times in my last minute effort of trying to give a friend a gift before moving from Chicago the owner and staff I spoke to were SOOOO nice! That's rare to come by..

The Crest Cafe is by far my favorite place for lunch in San Diego. The menu has some innovative and tasty items, and the Oui Oui Burger is the greatest. The decor almost too modern for San Diego, which is a good thing It's original, not your typical commercial spot. All the waiters are friendly and service is fast.
