I had some starter issues with my 16 year old Toyota pickup. For several years, I have been using a mechanic near the medical school, but taking a vehicle in and picking it up was just too big a hazzle. I knew there had to be a competent, honest repair shop closer. DC Automotive was recommended to me by gentleman who runs Dekra Auto Inspections. I could not have been more pleased, and I struck paydirt by using this shop. The starter was replaced promptly, and the repair cost was reasonable. I have no reservations about using them again when the need arises. Was this review helpful?

Damon is a great man who owns a great service shop. I've been taking my '96 Buick Regal to him for a few years after a bad experience with Kwik Kar Service stations where my power steering line had been cut. Since 2007 Damon has taken care of me and my car and has saved me money by showing and telling me that things other car service stations said I should have done really are not anything to worry about. Just recently had a flat tire and took it to another national car service business for a new tire I was told that I needed to have a new tie rod and new rear brakes which would cost me 300+ for the tire rod and about 160 for the brakes only cost me 196 dollars for both a new tie rod and brakes combined. Damon isn't in the business to make money, he's in the business to make repeat customers when they need help. Very trustworthy person and a very trustworthy business. Was this review helpful?

DC Automotive - Great Experience / Great Service I had a couple of issues on my 98 Volvo S90 and a few other items that I wanted to make sure were okay. Broken door handle. AC not working properly. Do I need my brakes serviced? Do I need shocks / struts? The guys at DC Auto were able to quickly determine what the problems were and called me with what the costs would be; very reasonable. Damon determined and fixed the problem with the AC in less than 15 minutes and at no charge!!! He said that since he was able to fix the door handle quickly, he wasn't going to charge for additional time for the work on the AC. The other items; he check and gave the status of each item and said; nothing else needed to be done on car today. As you can see, these were items that they could have easily replaced but didn't since it was not necessary. I now know the wear on my brake pads, etc and when I should have the work performed. Yep, now that I've found a good auto service center that's honest and does a great job; I'm taking the car there for ALL the service (oil changes to timing belt, etc). Again; Great Auto Service/Repair Shop!!!!Was this review helpful?
