Great Service, Quick and Efficient, Pet-Friendly So far (since June 2007 when I picked up my Avalon), I've had nothing but good experiences with Downeast Toyota. Several weeks after I picked it up, I took a friend there who got a great deal on a Tundra. My only reservation was in sales: the first salesperson I dealt with did not seem particularly interested in getting my business, and there was little-to-no dealing. I come from Michigan where, even 25 years' ago when business was booming, one could comparison shop. The second salesperson, however, Dean Craig, who took over when I actually closed, was wonderful and spent a lot of time with me explaining all the bells and whistles. Since then, I've had nothing but positive experiences (I go there for regular warranty appointments, for tire exchanges, and this week will be going there in addition to have my rear seatbelts replaced--they were victimized by my new puppy). I'll let everyone know if there are any problems of the kinds mentioned in the other reviews, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all will be as before! By the way, the waiting area is clean, well-supplied with refreshments, and pet-friendly. And there's even a little side room for kids to play in, or people with loud voices to talk on their cell phones!Was this review helpful?

I love my tacoma and the deal i got here! I bought my tacoma in 3-09 and got a good deal that fit my budget and had good service with a good deal of attention and no waisting time or money here! And the service dept. is very good from the desk to the tire shop guy's! Its a good safe and watch for your interest dealership,very good one.Was this review helpful?

i'm from NH and was visiting Maine when my car started to overheat (on a Saturday at 1:00pm). We called Downeast Toyota and even though they close at 4:00pm on Saturdays, they told us to bring the car right down. They immediately started working on it and even stayed over an hour after they closed to finish it. They could have easily said that we'd have to wait until Monday (we live 4 hours away and needed to get home for work and college). The actual cost was even less than the original quote! They were super friendly and kept us updated and worked diligently to fix my car. I don't know the tech's name who worked on my car but he deserves just as much credit as the service writer (Mark Johnson is amazing as well) because he took on a 4+ hour job 3 hours before closing. I wish I didn't live so far away because I would definately continue coming back to Downeast Toyota and you should too!!!Was this review helpful?

Ronnie P Upon returning to the States from a trip to The Maritimes we needed a quick oil change on our 2010 Venza. I called the service dept and was put into contact with a gal named Michele Nason she did a supurb job of getting our car in the service area and getting us out in a short period of time. Michele has a great enthusiasm for her job. Glad we stopped.Was this review helpful?

Luv My Toyota I have been buying my Toyota's from Downeast for several years. I am on my 4th vehicle and have always been treated great. In the sales department I have worked with a few different sales people and I never get pressure. I also get my service done here and even have my car cleaned twice a year.Was this review helpful?
