Without a doubt, the best hotel in the city. The staff really makes this place incredible. They seem to exist solely to make sure that your every need is met and they do it in the friendliest and most non-pretentious way. The rooms are super luxe gorgeous; the spa divine. Everything about this hotel will make you swoon and it's worth every bit the cost of the room. Was this review helpful?

This is by far probably the nicest hotel in Chicago. The staff was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. They were willing to help no matter how large or small the request. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous both on the inside and out. We didn't get a chance to try out the spa, but I've heard rave reviews about its quality. The upgraded us to a suite given they were overbooked, so we got to experience a higher-end room. The bed was very comfortable and all modern day and technological amenities you can think of were present. The nicest touch of our stay, the chauffeured us to our dinner reservations in an extended-base LS Lexus; WOW!Was this review helpful?

The Elysian Hotel Chicago is the best hotel experience you can get in Chicago. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. This is NOT your normal hotel. Everyone called me by name from the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out 2 days later. It was bizarre that they all knew me by name. The food was absolutely amazing. The rooms are the most clean and well thought out I have seen. The minimalist decor is perfect. Do not expect a good price for anything. If you want to save money, stay at the Holiday Inn. This is the kind of place you go if you're looking for a truly wonderful experience… money no object. In the same breath, it's worth EVERY DIME. THANK YOU Elysian!!!Was this review helpful?

I stayed two nights in a deluxe suite and I think I've found my new favorite hotel! A lot of credit is owed to the staff, who really seem to go out of their way to be helpful and were eager to accommodate special requests. They had that rare quality of being both very professional and very friendly. The building itself was fantastic. I liked the just-off Michigan avenue location with a nice quiet driveway/courtyard. The room appeared to be very new and was as well decked-out as any upscale hotel room I've been to. The room service, spa, and bar were all excellent. The house car was a nice touch. The view from the room wasn't better than anything you'd find anywhere else in downtown Chicago, but it was fine. The price was on the expensive side, but well worth it. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Was this review helpful?

Luxurious hotel not to be overlooked If you are thinking about staying in Chicago this is where you need to stay. Time warp back to a decade where customer service wasn't just a term that flew out of peoples' mouths but was rather an oath that employees made to their patrons. Service is unbeatable and the decor is wonderful. I recently got married and we went to a wedding ceremony and reception here and made it a little stay cation. While it was a bit more money than we would usually spend, every penny was worth it in the end.Was this review helpful?
