Poor neighborhood but overall quality of the school is good. Most professors truly care about you. I'm a Computer Science and IT dual major and all of my major professors are excellent.

Professors: Fabulous and Caring. TAs inexistent!........... Beauty: 7/10, great arboretum............ Science Laboratories: New (2009)........... Clubs and Activities: Varying............ Location: Easy to get to center city (between 12-20 minutes subway)........ Food: limited options, mediocre, poor hours. But, Fresh Grocer within walking distance (open till midnight)........ Administration: Annoying.......... Security: Safe. Better than Temple or Drexel....... Dormitories: Varies from really bad to very good depending on what part of campus your on............ Off campus housing: Available and reasonable (see YONO apartments or academia suites).............. On Campus events: Lacking........... On Campus Parties: Limited......... Tech Center:Frustrating.......... Student Newspaper:Bad (and rigged b/c its a private university)......... Price: Average......... Value: Above Average....... Would I do it again? Yes! My professors were worth every penny

earned both my bachelors and masters from one of the best psychology programs at any university in philly with the exception of ivy league upenn. Fun extra curricular activities and exceptional teachers. There are a few teachers who are horrible and expect too much project and homework wise. Food is only ok. Be careful of immeadiate surrounding nieghborhoods. Security is friendly but useless unless for directions. Horrible north dorms complex(extremely dirty) but very secure. Many ignorant athletes and greeks espeacially the sororities and the director of greek life is a complete ayehole. Education and party life and extra.curic.activities and the basketball games are this schools strong point.

Professors are good (most of them) and care about the students. The security department is horrible. On your tour of the school they tell you that you will always have an escort available, but you need a medical reason to get one even late at night when it is unsafe.Maintenance takes forever to fix something when you need it. It's pretty good for education though for the most part.
