Just took the class this weekend and was very glad I went to RideSmart. I had no experience on a motorcycle previously but we did so many exercises and had so much riding time that I felt very comfortable operating the motorcycle by the end of 2 days. These people have taught so many classes that they have got a system down - verbal briefing while another instructor demonstrates on a bike. If no one has questions, you're right back on the bike and doing the exercise until you get it. No wasted time. This by far was the most valuable portion of the course was all the different exercises and the amount of riding. The instructors were very patient and I observed them working with individual students who needed the extra help. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?

Excellent course that really stays with you. Don and the other instructors were top notch. It has been over 18 months since the course and think of the instructions given to us everytime I look through a corner, apply my brakes, etc. I have recommended RideSmart to others who have felt the same way after taking the course. I recommend this class to wnyone who can ride a bicycle or even someone who is a seasoned rider. Was this review helpful?

I both my wife and son went to this school and they both loved it! My wife and I had talked about riding again. I was a rider as a young man, but had to give it up while we raised our family. I was able to get my training from a company on base that was the worst experience for me. I seriously did not want to ride after the class but my wife bought me a bike. Instead of torturing her with the same class as I went to I did some research and saw the reviews for RideSmart. I had her sign up and her classroom training was that Friday night. The class was about 5 hours long and covered a Riders Handbook with about 50 pages of information. They made the classroom enjoyable for her. She said there was lots of discussion and the instructors were very knowledgeable. At the end of the class she had to take a written test. She said the instructors had covered all the information so she felt she was well prepared for the test. Saturday she started the riding part of the class. She had only ridden on the back of motorcycles but never been the operator. Within the first couple of exercises she was riding a motorcycle on her own. She rode in her class for half days on Saturday and Sunday. It was very structured but the instructors were helpful and encouraging to the students. The instructors made an effort to know the students and helped them understand what was required of the students. My wife was successful in the class and is now a rider. We liked the class so much we sent our 16 year old son to the school. We feel confident of his abilities to ride a motorcycle after the training he received. I highly recommend this school to all riders! A great price and you will get full value for the cost of the class! Was this review helpful?

The best place to get a motorcycle license. I have to be honest, I googled a lot and did my homework before I decided and RideSmart looked like the best place to go to. After 2 of my friends took the course they STRONGLEY recommended me to go there to get my motorcycle license so I went there. I had a really great time there (even in the learning session on Thursday). Don (the owner) was the teahcer of the class on Thursday and we really had a good time. In addition to learning a life saving stuff we also had a good time. Regarding the riding lessons (Saturday and Sunday), I had some experience with motorcycles but I learned so much more than I knew. The tutors were great and, once again, managed to combine teaching important stuff with humor and before we knew it, the first riding day was over. The second was just a bit stressfull, but only because you are being evaluated while riding the bike. Regardless, we still had a great time. I spoke with most of this class students (November 5th-6th) and they all had a great time. Now, regarding the negative reviews, I'm not so sure why people wrote them. My guess is that the people who didn't pass the course (failed either the written or riding tests) wrote them because I went through the bad reviews today (after I took the course) and I have no idea what these people are talking about. I can only tell you this, if you're planning to take the course with RideSmart, you'll enjoy every minute you're there and just like my friends, I strongley recommend this school. Was this review helpful?

Highly recommended by dealerships & riders - I hadn't ridden in almost 20 years. Wife, kids...life got in the way. I needed a refresher course, especially with the way people drive in Arizona. The coaches at RideSmart delivered the material in such a position way. It was great. Even the stuff that was review for me was re-introduced in a way that I'm a much more aware rider now. I loved this class, and can't recommend it enough. RideSmart avoided the big corporate cattle treatment and actually treated me like a person. Top-notch staff. Five stars! Was this review helpful?
