Intercontinental Houston The location of the hotel was easy to find. The valet service was $16 and was mandatory. However, I checked most local upscale hotels and they were about the same, if not higher. The valet parkers were friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby was huge! It was very clean and the front desk was very accomodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable! I loved the bed! The pillows and comforter were the best! The bathroom was huge and met my expectations, although the water pressure from the shower was not strong enough to my liking. The TV remote control was hard to control and intercontinental breakfast ended up costing twice as much as I had expected. I placed 2 orders of the $19 breakfast. The breakfast bill came up to $68. We had connection issues with the tv and they sent someone up to fix it but wasn't able to figure out what the problem was.Was this review helpful?

It was my first time staying here. I loved it. Everyone was really nice. The room was on the top floor. It has the most beautiful views of the sky line. Very comfortable bed. Only negative is don't stay in the room next to the elevator. It was a little noisy. The hotel was decorated very beautifully for the holiday. Hotel staff was super nice and happy to assist. Valet was a great choice. Only 9 bucks more than self parking. The deluxe club package is a great upgrade. Drinks and lounge in the afternoon plus a nice breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.Was this review helpful?
