The post by Twisitedelement is completely biased and unfounded. As a frequent diner, and acquaintance of people who work at the restaurant, I know they have never had a problem with the health board. They are also checked by corporate funded companies, unannounced, to ensure the restaurant exceeds health standards. Every time I am at Ruth's, whether it is for a drink or a five course meal, I am delighted by the service and ambiance. When friends and family are in town, going to Ruth's Chris is a must because they will be, and always are, overwhelmed by the fantastic experience and incredible food. In addition to this, I am very germ conscious (always have my antibacterial on me!), and I have never been alarmed or uncomfortable by the way Ruth's employees conduct themselves or tend to the facilities. In fact, they literally replace settings on the table after each course. I caution you to take into consideration where Twistedelements words are coming from. It sounds like he left on bad terms and has a personal grudge against the restaurant.

The Location Moved! This Ruth's Chris Steak House moved at the beginning of 2005 from 800 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104 to its presents location in the Grand Hyatt Hotel at 727 PIne Street, Seattle, WA 98101. It's still a great restaurant with great food and service.

Ribeye was great, done perfectly. Salad was a disappointment (but it's a steak place) and sides were basic but good if lackluster. Service was Very Good but not exceptional. Atmosphere was standard. Value = Expensive for what you get.

If you can't handle paying $70 per person, don't come. Food was great, perfectly cooked. Service was excellent. Extensive wine list and the martinis were just as good. Pre-entree salads were so big, they might as well as been the entree.

Celebrated our 6th anniversary here. Table was decorated to compliment that and our wait staff was amazing. This dowtown location is a bit of a younger hipper crowd than in bellevue. And my food has always been great here. Share dessert they are huge! I've yet to have a better steak.. you know its done right when medium rare comes sizzling and remains hot throughout the meal. Perfect night :)
