Disappointed I booked the hotel's signature suite for a special evening at whopping 600$ per night. The room had no view and sadly we were placed on the 3rd floor. Apparently, a higher floor was not available. The room was large and the 10ft x 10ft shower was cool as was the Bose surround system. The sofa and chair of the living room were badly stained and this gave the whole room a more modest feel. The turndown service was a maid hastily giving us some ice and some very mediocre chocolates. The in-room movie system did not work but the two LCD TVs were nice. 42 inch in the living room and 32 inch in the bedroom. The staff were fantastic and very professional. I am SPG preferred guest and I usually book a basic room and hope to get upgraded but this time I wanted to go for something a little more extravagant and well it was not worth it! Had I been upgraded to that room I would have been very pleased but pay 600$ forget it.

Can't Go Wrong Super nice hotel, perhaps the overall best I've experienced. The location is prime. Yes, there are homeless people around, but this is in Downtown. That is how it goes. You are not in a bad area -- you are right in the thick of things. As some reviews indicate, there is a lot of city noise. Not sure what they can do about this, but if you are sensitive make sure to request an inside room. I slept through it fine. Only complaint (and thus the four stars instead of five) is that we called ahead to get a rollaway bed for our 3 year old daughter. They said they couldn't do that because the rooms were too small. The room really was not small, and there was certainly room for a rollaway. It seems that they should have been more helpful here -- the confirmation email said to contact them if we needed a babysitter fluent in French. Well, if they can get that they should be able to get a rollaway bed. In any case, it was overall superb. Very clean, great location, fancy decor. You can't go wrong here (subject to noise caveat).

Exquisite rooms, great service and excellent food. Bellman was very friendly and concierge helped me find some great restaurants for my family to try within walking distance.
