Not quite perfect Ideally, this is a place you treat yourself to but I am not sure that it is really worth it. When you spend so much money on a dinner one would expect everything to be perfect. The food was great but the bread was cold, the butter was frozen, and the busser over filled the water glasses everytime. When a place is clean and the food is great, it is the little things that make a restaurant 5 stars.

Excellent food/atmosphere but expensive! Went for a second year anniversary, and the view of the city and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant could not be beat. The food was exceptionally good, but was surprised that for $54 rib-eye steak, you get just the steak and the twice baked potato you ordered is an additional $12. You can see how the bill racks up pretty quickly with a bottle of wine, some appetizers and dessert. We spent quite a bit, but walked away full and happy! Great experience overall, just lost one star as we would be unlikely to return anytime soon except for another special occasion where we could justify $300 for one meal on vacation.

The portion sizes were PERFECT, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful! I loved the fact that by the time I left, I was full, but not grossly stuffed, and was able to eat all my courses. It is pricey, but it's worth it for a special occasion. The food was SO delicious.. I wish it wasn't so expensive or I'd go every weekend!

Recently I went for a small weekend get away to Las Vegas. While hoards of people crowd around black jack tables, slot machines and loads of other vices - I get sucked into mine. The menus. I could honestly care less about the buffets, I'm more so enthralled with the rows upon rows of fine dining options all with-in feet of each other. On a Saturday afternoon, while my wife was taking a nap I decided to wander to a location I had never been to before. The Stratosphere and the Top of The World Restaurant on level 107. One can not help but feel slightly reminiscent of the late and forever legendary Windows on the World in New York City. But this is Vegas, and being Vegas, Indulgence is the order of the day. Which is exactly how I would describe this dish. The Tower Trio Combination, Seared foie gras with berry gastrique and roasted pears. Jumbo lump crab cake with green papaya salad. Seared sea scallops with southwestern spices. I lucked out and hit the lounge during half price appetizer time and 2 for 1 martinis. This was not planned, but certainly something I didn't regret. Bite after bite of this dish was truly delicious. The foie was perfectly seared - the perfect combination of savory, fatty, meaty and sweet with the berries. The crab cake was perfectly cooked and the crab meat sweet and delicious with a bit of spice and sweet. The sea scallops also done to perfection. Perfectly seared with a slight crust on the outside giving way to soft, tender and perfectly cooked center. Not rubbery, not dry, just perfectly done with great spices and sweet scallop meat. The stratosphere and The Top of the World is at the very, very end of the strip. Its a bit of a hike from almost anywhere on foot, but after this short dining experience, I can't wait to return.

This place is a little pricey for what you get, the view is a huge component of the price. So if food is priority one, then this might not be the best choice.
