New York Style Barber Shop in ATL! What a great old school barber! It reminded me of getting my hair cut in New York. No-nonsense, quality and cost effective. They also pay attention to the little things (straight razor on neck, hot towel, moisturizer, eyebrows, ears, etc). Found my barber shop! Was this review helpful?

Kevin, the owner of West Barber shop, has been cutting my hair and my dad's for 13+ years, since I was a teenager. For a standard men's cut, the price is right. You can certainly walk in, but calling ahead is recommended. Was this review helpful?

This is bar none the best value for a very high quality cut. Kevin is great, and so is everyone else, so don't be afraid if you walk in and he's busy. Still 17$ for a normal cut! Very nice details, and the guys have a perfect mix of speed and delicacy. For example, the used a straight razor behind my ears, not a single nick. This is basically the price of Great Clips. Men, do not ever go there or anywhere else for your haircut in Atlanta. Was this review helpful?

Old school, great place! I went to the same old barbershop in NJ my whole life until I moved down here, and after several sub-par experiences I kept looking and found this place. Comfortable inside, no wait (at 11am on a Saturday), no BS, just a great haircut. The best part, I didn't have to give a detailed song and dance about what kind of haircut I wanted. The barber did a good, careful job, and for just a couple dollars more than the crappy great clips down the road! ($17, July '10) It was probably the nicest haircut I've had. I'll be back! Was this review helpful?

A nice old style barber shop This is an old fashion barber shop. A hair cut is $17 (as of Feb '09) and they do a good job (at least this review is based off of one experience). The guys there look like they've been around for a while, they have 3 chairs here. The place has a old style feeling. They also offer beard trims and shaves. Was this review helpful?
